Overview

Sirubari Village trekking is located in Syangja district southwest of Pokhara city, after a drive from Pokhara is followed by the easy walk. The village is at 1,700 meters from the sea label. The climate in Sirubari almost good at all times of the years with never snow. The houses are mostly building from the local materials and are well build and comfortable.

The awesome impression of the village is one of the odder and classiness but with a warm feeling. Foot trails though the village is all stone tiled. Being on the southern slopes of the ridge the village enjoying long sunny day and is wonderful for agriculture.

It has won the PATA Gold awarded in may 2001 in recognition of efforts to preserve the culture and heritage of Nepalese total life.

 

Daily Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu

Arrival at Tribhuban International Airport (T.I.A) and pick up by our private vehicle and transfer to the Hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Full day guided sightseeing in Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Patan Durbar Square. (B)

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara (210km, 6 hrs)

Kathmandu – Pokhara: Take a tourist bus early in the morning to Pohara. It takes 6 hours. Check in the hotel and leisure time.

Day 4: Pokhara Sightseeing

In Pokhara: After breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing tour of Pokhara city including Devi’s fall, Gupteshwore Mahadev cave, Seti River,Bindhyabasani temple and Barahi temple with one hour boating on Phewa lake.

Day 5: Drive to Sirubari via Badkhola

After breakfast, drive to Sirubari via Badkhola, Darau. Stop for lunch en route Syangja Bazar and arrive Sirubari village between 4 to 5 pm.Welcome ceremonies, blessing by village lama, snacks and allocation of accommodation.

Day 6: Sirubari Village Visit

Sirubari Village Visit: Depart village on foot for mountain views and sunrise at Thumro. Snacks will be served at Maidan Kharka before sunrise. After viewing sunrise, return to Sirubari. Breakfast and Lunch at home. After lunch visit village, funeral place, school and back to home. Dinner with family.Evening culture program at gompa.

Day 7: Back to Pokhara

Sirubari – Pokhara: Breakfast with family and meet group at gompa for farewell ceremony. Depart Sirubari at 8.30 am for Pokhara via Karkinetta, Seti Doban and Naudanda. Stop for lunch en route. Arrive Pokhara and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8: Back to Kathmandu

Pokhara – Kathmandu: Wake up early in the morning and catch the bus to Kathmandu. Transfer to the hotel. Rest of the time for shopping.

Day 9: Final Departure

Final departure to the airport by our private vehicle. (B)
