  1. Asked by Ste** from USA says:

I want to see Mt. Everest but I have limited time in Nepal. Is it possible?

    • Navaraj says:

      Hi,
Since you have limited time in Nepal, to view Mt. Everest either you can need to drive to Nagarkot hill station (32 km, 1.5 hrs from Kathmandu) or take early morning Mountain flight (fixed wing flight for 01 hrs without landing or Helicoper tour to Everest for 03 hrs with 15 min landing).

However the choice depends on your interest and budget.

  1. Asked by Pas** from France says:

Where can i see and feel the Himalayan snow in Nepal?

    • Navaraj says:

      Dear Pascal,
Thank you for your query. Please note although Nepal is Himalayan destination to see snow (specially during Summer time) you need to go to mountainous region which can be reached by several days trekking (due to lack of proper transportation service). However during Winter season, Kathmandu-the capital city and surrounding hills also gets occasional snowfall. The popular snowfall destinations around Kathmandu are Phulchoki, Chandragiri, Nagarkot, Dhulikhel, Dahachowk, Tistung (Daman), Kalinchowk, Gosainkunda, Jomsom (Muktinath) etc.
      Thanks,
      Navaraj

  2. Asked by Mel** from USA says:

Can we see Mount Everest From Nagarkot?

    • Navaraj says:

Dear Melaine, Thank you for your query. Nagarkot is the nearby hill station to Kathmandu (Capital city of Nepal) famous for Sunrise/Sunset Views and the Mountain Views. The mountains that can be seen from Nagarkot are likely Manaslu range, Ganesh Himal Range, Langtang, Jugal Range, Rolwaling Range, Everest Range and Numbur Range from here. However Mount Everest in particular can be viewed in a very clear weather day.

  1. Asked by Daw** from Japan says:

How many minimum days required to visit Muktinath Temple?

    • Navaraj says:

      Dear Dawn,

Thank you very much for your query. To visit Muktinath temple which is in the Mustang district in the rain shadow region of Nepal, it requires minimum 5 days in Nepal. However we recommend minimum 6 to 7 days since we need to take Pokhara-Jomsom-Pokhara flight which is highly weather dependent. And to make sure that you do not miss your return flight we recommend 6 to 7 days and you will also be able to cover some monument sightseeing..

      Thanks,
      Navaraj
