Short Mardi Himal Trek is best recommenced due to short number of days required with splendid view of Annapurna Himalayas and Mount Machhapuchhere so close. Tour starts with drive to Pokhara (Lake City). Explore around lakeside and boating.
Next day drive to Phedi and trek to Forest Camp (approx 6 hrs walk). From there the trek starts gaining the altitude mostly through dense rhododendron forest and yak pastures nearing by High Camp. The close view of Annapurna mountains and Machhapuchhere peak is spectacular.
Almost 4 hrs trek from High camp is Mardi Himal base camp. Trek back till Siding is steep drop. From Siding easy vehicles are available for Pokhara.

Very beautiful city with rich culture, unique architecture, wood carvings, beautiful mountain views from Nagarkot. Car was comfortable and well driven, office guy was helpful, guide very knowledgeable. We only had breakfast at hotel, could have been better variety more healthier & options.
