Kathmandu is surprisingly has the highest concentration of World Heritage sites in the world. Within 5 km of radius distance one can find 7 world heritage sites namely Basantapur Durbar Square, Swoyambhu Stupa, Boudha Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Square, Chaktapur Durbar Square and Changunarayan Temple.
Each one of them compete on building the arts and archicture, palaces, temples, museums, public rest houses and many more. Going around these palace squares takes you back to 1st century and beyond when Nepal-Tibet trade florished to its height and kingdom rejoices it with abundance of food and clothing cluture, trade and commerce, arts and crafts. Temples and palaces adorned with silver and gold decorations.
This Kathmandu Heritage tour tries to explore these old age heritage, culture and tradition. Besides we walk along the old markets to hunt for some takeaway cuiro items. Taste local food and spend evening with cultural show and dinner at popular restaurant.
As the sun goes down Thamel market starts coming live with lights, music, aroma of varieties of tea/coffee and international cusines. And we live today’s evening at fullest as we are to leave tomorrow. Late night back to hotel to rest for a while and look forward for next day adventure to come.

Very beautiful city with rich culture, unique architecture, wood carvings, beautiful mountain views from Nagarkot. Car was comfortable and well driven, office guy was helpful, guide very knowledgeable. We only had breakfast at hotel, could have been better variety more healthier & options.
