Kapuche Lake is the lowest glacier lake in Nepal situated at an altitude of 2546 m above sea level. Trek starts from beautiful Sikles village which is approx 4 hrs drive from Pokhara city. Then it is 2 days trek to reach Kapuche Glacier lake via Hugu Goth (Goth means animal shelter).
This lake can be reached after some serious climbing through dense forest, passing by villages and the pasture lands for mountain goats. This is newly identified trekking route hence the accommodation facilities are basic, however organic food are available. At Hugu Goth tent accommodation is advisable.
There are regular local bus and jeep hire service available for Sikles from Pokhara (Hari Chowk) unless you want to trek for a day all the way from Soti village.

Explore the Sikles village.

Day 9: Fly back to Kathmandu (25 min flight)Morning after breakfast at hotel, transfer to domestic airport for flight back to Kathmandu.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel.

We traveled to India and Nepal during Feb 2020. During our trip we went to Delhi, Agra & Jaipur in India and Kathmandu valley tour and Nagarkot in Nepal. It was wonderful experience with Everest Tour Nepal Treks & Expedition, we visited lots of monuments, palaces, beautiful stupas and Sunset from Nagarkot hill station. Guide was extremely knowledgeable, very comfortable vehicle, nice hotel arrangement and top of it was very reasonable in price. We also took 1 hour flight to see Mt. Everest, which was also the main highlight of our trip.

Our Nepal tour with Everest Tour Nepal Treks & Expedition was good. Good vehicle, airport staff, guide and hotel. But only one thing we regret was not taking the guide service. Engaging tour guide should be compulsory. A driver/car on its own is of no use.
