Temples dedicated to several other Hindu and Buddhist deities surround the temple of Pashupatinath. Behind the temple is the River Bagmati. On the banks of Bagmati are raised platforms used as cremation sites for Hindus. Only Hindus are allowed inside the Pashupatinath courtyard.
Boudhanath Stupa (or Bodnath Stupa): is the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It is the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and rich in Buddhist symbolism. The stupa is located in the town of Boudha, on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu. Bandipur is a living museum of Newari culture, a beautifully preserved village crowning a lofty ridge above the highway stop of Dumre. Its winding lanes are lined with traditional Newari houses. Time seems to have stood still here, although it has taken a lot of effort to preserve the magic while developing the town as a destination. Despite its proximity to the epicenter of the 2015 earthquake, Bandipur escaped with only minor damage, though a number of village houses collapsed.
Bandipur was originally part of the Magar kingdom of Tanahun, ruled from nearby Palpa (Tansen), but Newari traders flooded in after the conquest of the valley by Prithvi Narayan Shah.
The town was an important stop on the India–Tibet trade route until it was bypassed by the Prithvi Hwy in the 1960s.

Me and my partner visited Nepal during May 2020 with Everest Tour Nepal Treks & Expedition. We were very happy with the service, arrangement of vehicle, hotel, inclusion of sightseeing monuments at the same time free time for us to enjoy the beauty. And top of it, it was privately customized at our budget. We definitely recommend Everest Tour Nepal Treks & Expedition to other travelers and we would like to thank Mr. Navaraj for the nice coordination.
It was November 2019 we went to Mardi Himal trek with Everest Tour Nepal Treks & Expedition. We really had wonderful time, few days in Kathmandu and Pokhara and 5 days Mardi trekking. Excellent guide Suraj and team. We highly recommend Everest Tour Nepal Treks & Expedition to my friends and other travelers.
We had our high school trip in Nepal on march 2019 and we brought around 25 students between 15 to 17 years old with us. Nepal was one of the most exotic place that we visited in our live. The people of Everest Tour Nepal Treks & Expedition were extremely kind to us and they made us discovered an amazing country rich of culture, peoples and traditions. Also, they were extremely conscientious about the quality of the water of the food that the restaurants served us. All the students and the teachers felt in love with the kindness of Mr.Navaraj and the other guides. several tears flowed at the airport when we left. Thank you for taking care of us, thank you for all the stories, the smiles, the aventures and all the memories you created. One day, We’ll be back in a personal trip and there will be no other choice than Everest Tour Nepal & Expedition
Carl & Pascal, two Canadians that miss Nepal
We traveled to India and Nepal during Feb 2020. During our trip we went to Delhi, Agra & Jaipur in India and Kathmandu valley tour and Nagarkot in Nepal. It was wonderful experience with Everest Tour Nepal Treks & Expedition, we visited lots of monuments, palaces, beautiful stupas and Sunset from Nagarkot hill station. Guide was extremely knowledgeable, very comfortable vehicle, nice hotel arrangement and top of it was very reasonable in price. We also took 1 hour flight to see Mt. Everest, which was also the main highlight of our trip.
We highly recommend this company to other travelers.

Dear Sharon,
Namaste..!!
Thank you very much for taking time to write feedback on your recent Nepal tour and recommending us to other travelers. We are pleased to hear that you had great time in India and Nepal.
And we look forward to serving you again in the future. Have a nice days ahead.
Best Regards,
Navaraj
Our Nepal tour with Everest Tour Nepal Treks & Expedition was good. Good vehicle, airport staff, guide and hotel. But only one thing we regret was not taking the guide service. Engaging tour guide should be compulsory. A driver/car on its own is of no use.
