Overview

Discover the magic of the Himalaya on this short trek through the Annapurna foothills. Our trek style is lodge to lodge, in the immense Himalayan panoramas. Gaze upon some of the highest peaks in the world, including the sacred Annapurna and Fishtail Mountain( Machhapuchhre). You can experience a fascinating glimpse into the life of the Gurungs, also known as Gurkhas and finish each day the same wonderful way: with a friendly Nepalese welcome at your comfortable mountain lodge.

Daily Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)

Welcome to Himalayan country of Nepal. Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan intl. airport our representative welcomes you and assists to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu. After time to get refreshed, evening you’ll meet and transfer for welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurant in the heart of Kathmandu and briefing about your trip and overnight at Hotel. Day 2: Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu

After breakfast your day will start to our guided trip to cultural world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley; including visits to the pilgrimage sites of Hindus Pashupatinath temple, the world biggest Bouddhanath Stupa, visit Swoyambhunath Stupa also known as monkey temple and historical Kathmandu Durbar Square with temple, unique architectures and Kumari (living goddess) in central Kathmandu. Evening pre-trip discussion and introduce with our fellow trip staff for your adventure trip. Meals: B

Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara valley (823m/2,700ft)

After breakfast we transfer you to the airport for your flight to Pokhara. Once you reach you at Pokhara we transfer you to the hotel and rest of the time explore the surrounding lakeside areas and overnight at hotel. Meals: B

Day 4: Drive from Pokhara to Kimche & Trek to Ghandruk

We drive from Pokhara following the Seti River valley to Kimche, from where your trek begins. Ease in with a gentle walk along a ridge in the lower foothills of the Annapurna range. Traverse paddy fields of rice and crops, with oxen driven by local villagers. Reach the village of Ghandruk (elevation 2,012m) to a warm Nepalese welcome at your lodge. Relax with spectacular views of the Annapurna Mountains and the valley below. Meals: BLD

Day 5: Trek to Majhgaun

Rise early to watch the sunrise illuminate the surrounding peaks. After breakfast, we set off on your descent into the valley on the iconic Annapurna Sanctuary route. Pause at Shauli Bazaar, and then follow the Modi River to the village of Majhgaun (1,400m). A friendly welcome and meal await at your accommodation. Meals: BLD

Day 6: Trek to Dhampus

Enjoy a satisfying breakfast before setting off through fragrant forests of oak, rhododendron and silver birch. Emerge to incredible views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Lamjung. Continue to the lively little village of Pothana and downhill to Dhampus (1,525m). Your lodge home for the night is styled as an old Gurung village house. Find your perfect spot in the garden and drink in superb views of the Fishtail Peak and the Annapurna range. Meals: BLD

Day 7: Trek to Phedi & Drive to Pokhara

Enjoy breakfast on the lawn, then bid farewell to Dhampus as you descend through the wooded hillside and terraced farmland to the valley floor. Arrive in Phedi, where your trek ends. We drive to Pokhara for your overnight stay.   Meals: BL

Day 8: Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)

After breakfast we fly back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu guide will transfer to the hotel and rest of the day relax or explore the surrounding areas and overnight at hotel. Meals: B

Day 9: Departure from Kathmandu

Today is free or last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives for you until your departure flight/drive or to commence any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us. If departing, you’ll be transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination. Meals: B
