This is an adventurous but extremely rewarding and beautiful off-the-beaten-track trek to the base camp of western Nepal’s second highest mountain, stunning Mt. Saipal (7031m). It is best trekked between mid-October and November after the harvest has cleared fields to camp on, as there are no designated camp sites. Itâs logistically complex; you need to bring your own porters on this trek as locals in this rarely visited region are unfamiliar with foreign trekking routines.
The itineraries runs from Silghadi (a sealed road reaches Silghadi from Dhanghadi) through Khaptad National Park to reach the Seti River Valley and the Bajhang District capital of Chainpur, from where you continue on to Saipal Base Camp.
For those who wish to take flight , one can reach via Chainpur airstrip.

Fantastic Kathmandu Tour Experience
My partner and I had a fantastic tour experience during our 3 days in Kathmandu. Everything was taken care of from the airport pickup, centrally located hotel, driver and tour guide.
The tour was fantastic and took us to all the main sites we wanted to go to in Kathmandu, with additional flexibility to go to any places that werenât in the original tour itinerary if you wanted.

Nepal at its charming best
We visited Nepal in May 2022 and visited Kathmandu, Pokhara, Jomsom, Mukthinath, Bhaktapur and Chandragiri.
